What a hidden gem! Don't buy into the old "next to the movie theater so it must be bad" mantra. This place is teeny but yummy! Try the pizza...for once, you won't be disappointed.

It wouldn't take much for me to give them more stars. House salad with entree was straight from the bag. No Italian peppers. Very blah. Very diss appointing. Atmosphere was great. Small and quaint. Service was average which is fine. Hubby ordered the grouper which was incredible!!! My baked ziti was average. Garlic rolls, fantastic! This place has potential. Dress up the salads!! Prices were good but comparable considering the overall meal.

I don't foresee this place lasting too long. The only reason for the two stars is the good service and nice decor. The food was not that great at all. The calamari was basic, with marinara that lacked flavor. The garlic bread was obviously made with garlic salt instead of crushed garlic or garlic powder, the saltiness was hard to bare. The chicken parm lacked flavor as well. The food just wasn't good. If you're looking for a good mom and pop italian joint. Go check out Iragazzi Pizza on Hancock. Much better food there: best garlic rolls in town and best chicken parm pizza!

Always enjoy eating here and wanted to give them a review - location is tucked in back corner of Corralwood Plaza and easy to pass by... but it's worth seeking out! The dining atmosphere is authentic and quite intimate with low lighting and soft background music. This place has great pizza and the usual Italian dishes! Be sure to ask for the garlic roles :) Staff is always pleasant and very attentive.

My experience there was just OK nothing spectacular. But eaten in NYC Italian restaurants and this is a wanna be at best . Nothing close to the real deal. Sorry I have eaten around the country. NYC is the next thing to be in Italy itself.

my best friend and myself decided to go here after i was finished with a haircut (right next door.) We were hungry and didnt have much time and I suggested we go there, which my friend had bad experiences there before, but i have always enjoyed my food here but service had always been lacking. She agreed so we went in and bith of us standing over six feet tall and 200 lbs were sat at their smallest booth, which the server seating us asked if that was ok and we said yes. When we realised our knees were touching we decided that wasnt the best idea and asked our server to move, and she was great about it. However, we asked a question about the 2 for 30 menu and she had to walk away and get info from someone else about our question, no big deal. It took about ten minutes to get our salads, and by that time i needed a refill, but she choose to bus her table and dissapear for about five minutes before my friend needed a refill and we both sat our empty drinks at the end of the table, and our server only had our table. Still, no big deal. She brought our bruschetta and finally asked if we wanted refills, we saod yes, and she brought them. Our food arrived and I was satisfied with mine, but my friend took one bite of her lasanga and literally pulled out about ten tiny pieces of eggshell. Another server noticed and got the manager who came over and said sometimes it happens, which is true, and asked if she could get my friend something different, my friend said no and the manager said let us know if you find anymore. The next bite contained about ten more eggshells. Needless to say my friend was over it. She sent it back and wanted nothing else. We needed refills again which our server ignored. She was really nice though, whichcounts for something, we had ordred the 2 for 30 which included 2 mini cannolis. The server brought them out and they were just gross. My friend took one bute and put them at the end of the table. We then get our check and everything was still on there. We said something to our server and she said ill be right back. When she came back she apologized and said she tried to speak with her manager but got nowhere, plus we were still waiting for refills. We then said something again about how my friend didnt eat her food, and she said she would go talk to her manager again. She comes back and said the manager offered a $10 gift card. We asked if the manager could come to the table. When she arrived we explained that my friend didnt eat her meal. The manager seemed confused and said, "but we offered you somethung else." Im sorry, but my friend wanted nothing more to do with the food here, and she didnt eat it. The manager said well ok but im charging you for what you ate. Well obviously because i ate it that made sense, but it was like she was throwing it in my face. Our original bill was $36, and she came back charging me full price for my salad and entree, which was $31. WOW! You couldnt have just taken $10 or $15 off the bill and called it a day. Im done. I have always enjoyed my food here, even with shotty service, but WOW. Thenmanager obviously has no brain, and the service, though she was nice, sucked. We left literally angry on how rediculous and stupid the whole situation was. NEVER, EVER returning and will tell everyone I know how terrible this place is. BE AWARE!!

Great place with good prices! I'm an ambiance person so this place worked out well. Large menu with good options. Better be OK with wine and beer only, but it's all good after that.

Excellent all around. Great service, food was delicious and reasonably priced. A little tricky to find because it is located in strip mall.

My wife and I had lunch here and will definitely return. The waitress was attentive, the rolls were yummy (she brought seconds) and the veal Parmesan was scrumptious. Atmosphere was tastefully done and old "Blue Eyes" crooned over the speakers. Worth your time for certain.

Best food we've had in Cape Cora! The fettuccini alfredo (including homemade sauce) was amazing, and they even made me a white pizza that wasn't on the menu. Fresh garlic and mozzarella. We loved it! If they don't have a pizza oven, I'd be amazed. They even make a homemade italian dressing that was fabulous. Delicious food! We will go there again! Service was very good. We also appreciated the bus boy cleaning both tables and chairs.

So far the best place we ate in since we came to cape coral.4 of us dinned there and the food was very good.I'm a transplanted New Yorker and left with a good impression. The wait staff were pleasant and attentive, with a little humor added in.Our server was Stephinie, what a great wait person.

Prompt Service. Big variety on menu. Table seating is crowded and awkward. Food was disappointing. Calamari was adequate. Escarole soup was cloudy and tasted of too much vinegar. Eggplant was without any dynamic flavor, just saucy and cheesy. Our fairly inexperienced waitress apologized constantly, which was a bit unnerving. Waitress stated bar service was beer and wine, but I noticed alcohol bottles near the cash register. When I asked what they were the response was " I don't know." Conveniently located next to Marquis Cinemas. A sandwich might be better next time.

40 minutes and 30 bucks to get a ham & cheese sub no toppings, a sad tomato salad. and cheese sticks. The other patrons in the restaurant were already finished eating and were on dessert it was not a issue of patience. I read great reviews previously but based on the service time and quantity of food for the price there are way to many other great Italian places in the Cape. The time you have to wait for average food is unacceptable. I would stay away from salads and subs maybe pizza is their thing just don't go hungry it will be a while.

We'd seen the restaurant a few times and made a mental note to try it out. We then got a coupon for some pizza/sub combo and decided to try it for take-out one evening. Calling was super easy and the website was clear and informative. Then picking it up was a whole different story. They told us 20-25 minutes, but the pizza wasn't even in the oven yet when we got there. An employee was bad mouthing another customer to us (never a good idea) and the customer who was having the difficult time was complaining about the wait. It just seemed a bit unorganized and chaotic for a Sunday night at 8pm and for such a tiny restaurant. The pepperoni pizza was fine, not great, and the chicken parm sub was not good at all - the bread was mushy and it just lacked something, maybe cheese or some different spices? So based on the service, I'd recommend checking out Carmine Street or some place else if you're looking for really good Italian food with friendly service.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
